Does it hurt to get a filling?
Im going to the dentist soon to get a filling on a REALLY bad cavity. Theres like a hole in it and everything. So, does anyone know from personal experience if it hurts? If so, how bad does it hurt? Give me all the details! haha.

I just got one done not too long ago...same thing as you, I had a hole. They drilled off about a quarter of my tooth. I got shots in my mouth over the course of the whole time. You cant feel much with that much numbing agent in you. Then they used the sandblaster. Dont be scared by that...its just what they call the filling. That was the worst part. I could kinda feel it. Afterwards, the right side of my face was so numb, I couldnt feel when I bit it. Also, when I smiled, only half of my mouth moved. Watch out for drool. lol
