Does giving blood hurt?
I have booked myself in to give blood on monday but i am nervous not only a s it is my first time but i am scared of needle to im ok if i dont see them but if i look i just burst into tears. Please reassure me that i have made the right decision.
Answer
Everyone has different threshholds for pain, but I would describe it as mild discomfort. Other than when you are poked with the needle which isnt too bad, your arm will feel slightly numb. The benefits FAR outway the mild discomfort since you can literally save several people with one donation.
